Dear Mr. Ferman,
I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for one of the most memorable fishing trips of my life. I have been fishing for the better part of forty years and have caught more than my share of fish. Consequently, a friend, aware of my love of the sport, persuaded me to take a guided drift boat trip through High Hook Guide Service as well as a follow-up shore trip on the Salmon River. I was hesitant at first, however I was extremely intrigued by the prospect of a drift boat trip. Furthermore, it wasn't five minutes into the trip, that the level of professionalism and expertise displayed by the guide impressed me. Additionally, I was treated as a friend and not a client. The following day, as we beat the shoreline, I
started to become aware of what I would have missed if I had not had a guide. The guide's ability to read the water and locate fish utterly amazed me. I was extremely thankful to have a friend
recommend me to High Hook Guide Service. If there is anyone with a limited time schedule, looking into a fishing guide service can be a fleeting thought. I fully understand time restraints. However, if anyone were looking for a fishing trip of a lifetime, I would give my highest recommendation to High Hook Guide Service. It most certainly was an experience of a lifetime. I am looking forward to steelhead fishing with you again.

Bill Ferman & Sons: Respected, Experienced, Licensed Guides
I, my sons, and friends have fished with the
Ferman's since the Fall of 1993. This includes the Fall Salmon run, Fall Browns and Steelhead, Winter and Spring Steelhead, and Spring Rainbows. Due to their constant attention to water levels and conditions, movements of fish, and evaluations of streams large and small throughout the region, they have never failed to put us onto fish. We have had goods days and Great days!
I have watched them patiently explain and demonstrate
techniques and methods, constantly adhering to all regulations, while encouraging a respect for the spot, the resource, and the species. They are soft spoken gentlemen, splendid teachers and
companions. All of these men, express and practice conservation and promote understanding and respect for all limits and regulations.
The men of High Hook Guide Service are accustomed to serving clients with a variety of levels of experience, proficiency, patience and enthusiasm. Throughout the year, I have personally observed their ability to instruct and encourage clients of all ages. The
Ferman's have earned and deserve our admirations, respect and friendship.

Hi Bill,
Well, I'm back to work but I still have those 8-12 pound Brown Trout fresh on my mind. Dennis and I had a great time fishing with you as we have had for the last 10 years.
Bill, whether fishing in your
drift boat over the steelhead hole or hiking into one of your many scheduled streams and rivers far from the crowds, where we wade for Kings, Rainbows and Brown Trout.
You always seem to know where the fish are.
Dennis and I appreciate your expertise.
